Here are some things to know before your session:

Cash, check, or credit card accepted. If needed, refer to the booking page for the price of your session.

Cancellation/Rescheduling
Please contact Max directly as soon as possible if you need to cancel or make any changes to an appointment.

Before Your Session:

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage
Sound Healing Session (Individual)

Before your Ayurvedic Yoga Massage session:

  • It’s advisable to come on an empty stomach, or to take a light meal 1.5 hours or more before the massage.
  • You are welcome to arrive up to 15 minutes early to get settled in. We’ll go over a brief questionnaire to tailor your session to your needs. (This does not cut into session time)
  • Clothing: Sessions are full-body, oil-based relaxation massages. Maximum clothing is underwear on the bottom. You will be covered at all times by two sheets for warmth and comfort. For women, extra sashes are provided and used as your top during seated stretches, etc.
  • If possible, allot for some time after your session ends to transition out of your massage experience. Not having to rush off to the next demanding appointment is ideal and will help you integrate the relaxation in body and mind.
  • The body will continue to detoxify throughout the day, so drink plenty of water (if possible, spring water is best).

Before your Individual Sound Healing session:

  • It’s advisable to come on a very light or empty stomach, so you are comfortable laying down and can receive the maximum benefit of the vibrational massage.
  • You are welcome to arrive up to 15 minutes early to get settled in.
  • Clothing: It’s ideal to wear loose, comfortable clothing for the sound healing (pajama-style pants, loose long-sleeve shirt, etc.)
  • Please, if possible, don’t plan any demanding engagements or activities directly after your session. Give yourself ample time to relax, as you will continue to integrate the effects in both the body and mind long afterwards. Ideally you’ll have some quiet time to yourself to reflect on your experience and let it sink in.
  • The body will continue to detoxify throughout the day, so drink plenty of water (if possible, spring water is best).
